mazdaspeed turbo in mazda 3?
hey i was wondering if you can take the turbo from the mazda speed 3 and put it into the regular 3
is it like a direct bolt on or is there more mods you have to do? thanks |
Its been done if thats what your asking. But its far more complicated than just bolting on a turbo. Alot of time and money.
|
not hard if you no what you are doin, but just throwing the turbo from one wont work, u need an standalone ecu, piping, ic, and you will only be able to give ur motor about 8psi, and if you have an automatic none if this will even matter cuz the trans is going to blow
|
yeah i guess i meant if its been done
yeah i know its more than just bolting it on are there any threads or anything to doing that? thanks |

actually boosting the 3 is cheaper than getting a ms3, as for reliability it all depends on how well its put together.
N/A 3- 12k (older) MS3- 22k (older) 10k in a reg 3 is more than enough to get it better than is ms3, about 3k gets it to the same as the ms3 while at that point you can already make it faster. again you have to know what to buy, and yes thats buying everything brand new |

wow, wherever you are i would never buy a car from a used car dealer, 16k of a used 07 while a brand new 2010 2.0l starts at a base of 16k, but again i was going from brand new price
