i have an 06 mazda 3, had to pull carpet but i tried to pull this rubber/foam mat up (front passenger floor pan) and not knowing it was held down by white styrofoam (like a cooler) material and ripped holes through it. can anyone tell me that this white styrofoam is called or what its used for? should i be worried about water or moisture coming through these holes. here are some pics.
