Mazda 3 PCV valve location?
I am trying to replace the pcv valve on my 2004 mazda 3 2.3 liter and cannot find where it is. I have heard that it is under the manifold but that really doesn't help me. I cant seem to find a chiltons or haynes manual anywhere in town that shows pics of the engine so if anyone has a pic or diagram or something very specific about the PCV valve location it would be greatly appreciated.

That is part of the emissions system and is warrantied for 80,000 miles.
I don't know if there is a time limit on it. Read the owners manual. |
it just so happens to be at 83000 miles, how convenient!

everything breaks (important) when the warranty is up

So what is the other hose displayed on the scheme?

i noticed that the thread was pertaining to the placement of the PCV valve on a 2.3 lit motor. i have the 2.0 and am looking for the PCV valve and cant seem to find it. looking at the diagram that is pictured above my set up seems to look slightly different. Would anyone know where i would find the valve on the 2.0 setup?
