Default Mazda 3 key range and battery question

Any suggestions for a replacement battery that lasts longer than the mazda battery.

Also - will the quality of the battery affect the range of the key? Is there a way to improve the range?

We use engergizer batteries at work. As long as there isn't any electrical interference the range of a new battery would be about 50 mtrs.

Battery supplies power to the key, battery cannot extend the key working range. Good battery can last longer than others.

You are right in saying the battery wont extend the range, but a remote with a new battery will have a longer range than one with a older battery.

Wait, when you say new battery, are you referring to the battery in the car or the battery in the key fob? Or both?
