Hello
My car had a coolant leak and I smelled it, but couldn’t see where the coolant was coming from.
One day I was leaving my house and noticed that the radiator fan was full speed and the temperature gauge was just a little over the normal temperature. It didn’t go all the way up.
I checked and was able to see where the leak was coming from. I let the car cool down for about 8hrs in a parking lot.
Then I drove it back home which was las 5 mins. I replaced the part and decided to replace the thermostat and the temperature sensor.
Now the car us overheating. Noticed that the radiator fan don’t kick in when the car gets hot.
i decided to replace the radiator fan with a new part and still it doesn’t kick it when car is hot.
Please help, anyone has had the same problem? I can’t figure out what’s the problem. I checked the fuse and fuse ir ok.
The car doesn’t overheat when idling, but as soon as I drive it, it overheats. Old part New part ordered
