Default Mazda 3 A/C Compressor Oil? Atmos GU10?

Hi all,

New here and just working on my g/f's 2004 Mazda 3 2.0L w/66k this weekend. Yesterday I replaced pads/rotors, bled the system, rotated tires, oil/filter, replaced manual trans oil w/synthetic 75w90, air filter & NGK factory plugs. Pretty simple to work on so far, however I'm not familiar with some things...

Her A/C compressor locked up a few weeks ago and so I ordered a used A/C compressor which I am going to install today (system evacuated), but I have a question about which compressor oil to use? The factory service manual states using PAG oil Atmos GU10 compressor oil although I can't find any info on this oil. Is this a standard PAG oil I can find at auto parts stores?

Thanks!

Edit: Just found this is a PAG type 46 oil...

how did your ac replacement go? how much oil did you drain/add to the used compressor. I just did mine and things didn't go right, I am getting high low side pressures and low high side pressure. I can't think what is wrong except that maybe i added too much oil. I drained 2oz from seized motor, and about same from used motor, but I ended up putting 5oz of oil back into used compressor. AC guy says that wouldn't cause my problem, he said my used compressor was bad.

Thanks for any help
