Default sluggish start

recently i have noticed that my 3 kinda delays, sputter, waits (not sure of the right word) when i give it a lot of gas from a dead stop. this does not always happen but does occasionally. any ideas?

1. Try cleaning the MAF sensor. It may have some light dirt lodged in there.
Don't use just anything to do this. The sensor can be easily damaged using the wrong chemicals. CRC makes a special spray for it, or I'm told, it can be carefully done using Q-tips and rubbing alcohol.
2. Barring that, try resetting the ECU. Disconnect neg batt terminal for @ least 15 mins. Reconnect and go!

Thats just the ETB saying "woah im not a sports car so lets just decrease that tourque at the line so we can prolong the life of my tranny" in case udont know what ETB stands for is, its Electronic Throttle Body, compared to the regular cable throttle body....its crap.

yeah i agree with you tracker, i grounded it and it didnt do much difference, but i left it grounded anyways. it hasnt done it for a while so whatever it was has fix itself.
