Light Flashing In Speedometer
 

Today I carried my wife to a store and I sat in the 09 Mazda listening to the radio.
I had the engine off with the key on and noticed the security light flashing.
This is the one in the odometer. The one on top of the dash has always flashed when someone came close, but this is the first time this one has flashed.
I went out just a few minutes ago and it is still flashing. Anyone know what may be causing it?
It still starts fine,( for now) anyway.
It don't flash or come on when the engine is running.

Sounds completely normal.
