Default Key no longer works in my trunck lock

A few months ago, my key(both my keys) stopped working in my trunk lock. The key goes in perfectly fine, but it won't budge. I have sprayed all sorts of penetrating oil into the lock and still the key won't turn. I have looked at the lock from the back end and it all looks fine, so I am baffled. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If both keys stopped working at the same time it seems likely that the problem is in the lock cylinder itself. Is your car still under warranty at all? If so I'd take it to the dealer to see about getting that cylinder replaced. It's also possible that someone you don't like (or who doesn't like you) squirted some glue or something inside.

Quite possibly it is the lock cylinder, but here is something else to try. With the trunk lid open, look at the cylinder from the inside. You should see a bright yellow plastic switch. Sometimes, this switch gets inadvertently bumped into a position which will prevent keys from working. Try pushing the switch in the opposite direction, and see if that enables your keys. The switch can be a little sticky, but should not require a great deal of force to move it.

If this does not work, make sure you push the switch back to its original setting.

Let us know if this works.
