Default K&N really give HP and fuel gains

I am thinking of putting a K&N air filter in my 2.3 I am getting 29hwy@70mph and around 26 in town....not complaining mind you, but any increase is good, esp wit gas pushing 3 bucks a gallon

i put the air filter in my car. it definetly doesnt hurt. I noticed the car is a little more peppy with the filter. not sure about the increase in gas milage or HP, but the car is a little bit quicker

Sometimes more air equals more fuel to maintain the same air/fuel ratio. It allows more power because more air is required, but you shouldn't expect much difference for normal driving.

A Cold Air Intake will give you an increase of 4-6 horsepower and about 2-3 mpg. Try that!
