I’ve been having an issue lately in my 2015 Mazda 3. Often when i go to start the car, the button just flashes green like it does when you don’t have keys with you. I’ve changed my fob batteries, but it seems to happen with both fobs. It sometimes takes several tries for it to kick in and start and it’s getting a bit annoying. If anyone knows about this problem or have any ideas i’d like to hear them.

 

Get it scanned for fault codes.

Could be the SSU, could be the brake light switch.

 

Yeah i tried scanning it at home, i’m in school right now for autobody collision n refinishing the shop has a super high end scanner i’ll try that and see if it maybe picks up something that mine doesn’t. Also i’ll look into the SSU thing although im unsure how i would address that myself i’ve got no experience with this car.
