I screwed up, anyone have advice?
 

So I'm in the middle of what has become a nightmare. I could go pretty far back with this story but I won't, for now at least.

Long story short, last night one of my tires started to leak. It was late, so I couldn't get to a repair shop, but I was close to my apartment so I was able to drive into the complex on the bad tire. That's where things REALLY started to go bad...

Full disclosure, I've never fixed a flat entirely on my own. So I pulled out the jack, attempted to use it, and well, I obviously didn't put it in the right place because my car slipped off of it...twice. This being my first time doing this, I didn't know how important the placement was. So the huge issue now is the front bumper of my car is resting in the curb of the parking lot - and it's so far over it that I can't fit a flat on. I'm freaking out a bit because I don't know if there's any way I can fix this without getting a tow or something. And even then, the car is FWD so I don't even know if that is physically possible.

Yes, I'm stupid, should have read up more before trying to do this...but I am where I am now and I can't undo what I've done. Does anyone have any suggestions at all? I'm at a loss right now so I'm going anywhere I can to try to get help...:confused:

The car is a 2010 Mazda 3, for the record.

Rather than get all wound up, call for a tow company to help. Most offer flat tire help. Once it's done, practice changing your tire. Grab the owners manual, see how the tools are set up and take the tire off. It's much easier when you don't have to do it, no stress and you can take your time to learn. Toss this one in the lesson learned file and move on.

AAA is an awesome service to have, but knowing how to change your own tire is super important.

I jack it up from suspension arms, not sure exactly what they're called, but they are further in on the car and feel more secure.http://www.solsticeforum.com/forum/a...ront-jack2.jpg
