Default home link (garage door opener) ????

So
was wondering if anyone has come up with a homelink for the 3?
Or is there a homelink visor option in the speed3 or grand touring that we can just buy and install?

Me want a garge door opener...

There is an optional homelink auto-dimming mirror. I think it runs around $200 but you're getting homelink buttons (I think three of them), the auto-dim feature (which is awesome... just wish I had it on my side mirrors and my wife's car), and a digital compass.

Yes That is correct 2 different options. My car came with the Auto Dim mirror and compass from factory. I upgraded to the Homelink version when i bought the car as I also wanted garage door control and not have to have aremote in the car on the visor or center armrest. It costs about $400 for the parts and dealer to install. You need to buy the mirror and an install kit then the deal labor.

Install can be done by you if you want to get out of a lot of charges. There's a good walkthrough around for installing the homelink mirror.

The $400 is $200 for the mirror and $200 for the dealer to install it. I got mine installed for free by the dealer I bought the car from, but if I were adding one now I'd just put it in myself. I'm also not positive on the price of the mirror.... check with Jason at www.onlinemazdaparts.com
