Help - Speedometer problem

Mazda 3. Having speedometer problem - speedometer occasionally does not change when I speed up or slow down. 2 Mazda dealers cannot find problem. Suggestions for what could be the problem and how I can fix it?

I believe the speedo is driven off of a sensor located on the transmission....Maybe start there.
