Help! Ash-tray, temp knobs, pass airbag indicator lights shorted out...
While installing some lights on my car looking for power I seem to have shorted out some lights. The Ash-tray/ Coin holder, Passenger airbag indicator, cigarette lighter port, temperature knobs, and possibly the blue backlighting in the gauge cluster has all gone out, and I'm hopping its simply a blown fuse. After driving the car for a couple of minutes I noticed the airbag/seatbelt tensioner warning light on, I think and hope it is simply due to the malfunctioning/shorted indicator light but who knows, what I am asking is what fuse controls these lights and do you think it will fix the airbag light?

99% likely-hood you have blown your park-light fuse.

Look in your fuse boxes.

Boxes plural? The only one i know of is under the hood...
Edit: found the second one. Cant find the park-light fuse. |
What year is your car?
Try " ILLUM fuse, ROOM fuse, TAIL fuse. Also maybe the TNS relay. |
Sorry, it's a 2006. I did end up finding the ILLUM fuse and it was burnt out but I will check the others just to make sure. Thanks!
