Put another set of driving lights under bumper if possible. If you have fog lights can you convert them to driving lights!? Make sure they are aimed properly, the lower the light the harder it is to aim.
I love my HID's.

Yes you did. If you are in the US, and not going to remove the smoke from the lenses, I'd suggest take you car to a truck shop with what you are asking, they can or should be able to suit you, and the local law.
