on my 07' m3 s touring i got about 360 on a full tank... is that good or no?

 

How many gallons? My 3 shows empty when there are 2 gallons left - so @ 30 mpg that could be the difference between 360 and 420 on a tank.

 

i have the same thing except that i have 2.3L uhm wehn i refilled it, i put in 12.3 Gal.

My latest tank of fuel in the Speed 3 was 27.0 mpgas calculated by the miles drivendivided by the gallons at the pump. It was mostly highway driving, but not all.

 

Ivery rarelydrive rush hour, seldom use the AC (so far), and do a mix of about 1/3 city and 2/3 freeway-highway. Iaverage about 30mpg (2007 M3 i-touring auto w/2.0).

Pure highway cruising, I get 34-37.

 

By the way, on the subject of skin cancer, you are correct, burning rays can get through the side windows. The side windows (untreated ones from the factory) block some, but not all, UVA and UVB rays.

The windshield, however, because of all the safety layers, effectively blocks all UVA and UVB rays.

 

That's pretty good for a 2.3. It works out to be 29.27mpg. 360/12.3=29.268292.
I've done that a coupla' times in mine, but mostlyI run a mile or two less.

 

that's good... i use A/C only when i drive home because that's when the hottness hits, but i keep the A/C at 1 or lvl 2.. taht's it.

 

'Got some news for you sweetness,and I've seen a lot of other ppl (guys) that arejust as confused by this: The A/C doesn't care where the fan switch is set, it cares where the temperature setting is. So set it where you want it and CRANK IT UP, Baby!!
