Electronic Parking Brake Malfunction - Intermittent
I participate on no less then 12 forums almost Dailey. I also run a service shop. I don't have time to help members and watch out how and what I say. So the best approach is straight forward. The average DIY has very little skills but like most we all think we are born knowing how to work on and service cars. that all changed in 1995. OBDII and CANbus eliminated the average DIY as well 50% or more of the mechanics ability to effectively diagnose and service a vehcle without formal training, education and some form of certifications in servicing and more so from about 2014 to present having some form of certifications.
There are some systems that IMHO and based on thousands of vehicles coming through our shop that some people should not touch at all for their safety as well as people around them when they work on their own vehicles.
SRS
ABS
BCM
TCM and ECU/PCM diagnostics and sorry but most all braking systems.
You are still somewhat new to this forum and will get to know the most active members in time. That is who are the helpful and who don't give the best advise and recommendations. And those that are just here to have fun and maybe learn a little more then they knew the day before?

Your scanners if they don't have ABS on the main menu when you activate the scanner then they likely don't have ABS scanning capabilities. I am glad that you state your other scanner has information overload. Those are the worst scanners in the hands of DIY. They give information overload and think it relates to an issue cause some of us to just [pass on even helping them.
Back to you issue....
