Default Easily Scratched Paint?

I've heard that the Mazda 3's paint chips kind of eaisly. Is this true? And if it is, is there a protective coat that I can have put on the car? How much does it cost and what is the best kind? Thanks!

the paint does chip but there is generally a reason for it to chip (me for instance.. stones flew off a truck and kind of chipped my paint) i have the touch up paint.. and it works

The paint does scratch a little bit easily. Or maybe it just seems that way, because new car owners (like me) go from having perfect paint, to having a few nicks. It hurts ...

For the front of the car, some get a "clear bra." I have not gotten one.

what you can get is this coat that protects the paint. its something like 200 bucks but ive heard of people doing it and they say that it is completely worth it

Funny, when I frequented forums for my last car (04 Subaru Impreza), they all had this same thread

Something tells me all cars now have paint that chip easy.

Something tells me you guys follow too close.

Try six seconds.

Park your car the farthest from the entrance you want to go in. Ie: the mall. That's where all the best parking spots are.
