Having been an Acura driver prior to my Speed3, the TL-S had issues with the tranny holding up to the such a great amount of torque. With regards to the TSX- Type S, it would come no where close to competing with a Speed3. Don't get me wrong, Acura makes a great machine, however comparing a TSX- Type S or a TL-S to a Speed3 is like comparing apples to oranges. IMHO.

dads 02 acura TL before he sold it for the 06 acura MDX. *my parents have mooooore experience with honda then youw ill ever know* the tranny went 6 times on it. all under warranty but still

If you HAVE to have an automatic, and you want to pump Massive amounts of Power through it, your choices are German or (for less dollars) American.

Yes Detroit Slushboxes are boring, but they can handle V8 power and towing loads.
