I've notice a knocking noise coming from the passenger side of the engine compartment. I can only hear it inside the car though. If im outside, underneath, or even in the engine compartment I cannot hear it. Anybody else hear that noise?

 

is the car moving when you hear the knocking? going over bumps,turning,stopping etc. need some more info. I have a 2004 that does make some knocking noise and its the spring moving at the top.

 

It's when the car is in park. The noise increases when I slightly increase the throttle but goes away the more I give it.

 

have you checked the motor mount on the pass side by the belt area? check right undernieth the mount (the large aluminum piece), and see if it looks like something is leaking fluid (blackish color). sometimes this motor mount gives out & make a idle vibration that goes away after a certain rpm. you could also look at the mount & see it collapsed as well.

 

Is it possible to go out at only 6300 miles?
