Ding!

My wife wanted to drive the new car. So while I was at work she went to the Chinese Super Market with it and someone dinged it. The worst part, is that it obviously wasn't done by their door. Which means they hit the car with something in their hand, did not car and did not leave a note. The car just rolled over at 150 miles and I have owned it a week.[:@]

Now it is going to cost me at least 60 bucks if I want it repaired. Damn incompetent Arizona drivers.

Incompetent and irresponsible drivers/people are every where these days, not just in Arizona , my friend. No one wants to take responsibilities for their actions, if that makes you feel any better... and I'm sure it won't
Sorry to hear about the trouble, but I know how you feel. I had much the same thing happen when mine was new, but I was luckier in that I was able to polish out most of the damage, and the rest came off w/the side molding.

Parking lots, especially supermarkets and malls, are minefields for this kind of thing. I generally try to park away from the highly crowded areas of the lots.

Yeah, she said she parked at the furthest spot, but the car that she parked next to her was the one responsible.

Had the same thing happen to me when mine was 2mo old. It'll teach me to find the closest spot in the mall parking lot.

Its a law of having a new car that something happens in the first 500 miles. A ding, a cracked windshield, a paint chip, tearing off a side mirror, a miscellaneous mystery scratch. Something.

I think I'm lucky enough that nothing has happened to mine yet, knock on desk.

sorry to hear... but i also fear the same thing coming out after a day at the mall. Just be glad that it's going to cost very minimal amount of money to repair it.

RE: Ding!

Is there any easy way to repair a small ding about the size of a quarter, without taking it to the body shop?
