Deal?

I have a dealer offering $19,300 before Tax for a 2007 Mazda 3 s GT w/ BOSE package and Rear Wing Spoiler. Also the APR for 60 months would be 3.9%.Good deal?

Sounds fairly decent to me, but I'm no expert. Of course, the APR depends on your credit score, so it's more of you earning that rate rather than the dealer offering it... but around 19K seems to be a fairly decent price for the vehicle you are looking at. You do know that for maybe a couple thousand more you could try to get into a speed 3 at retail, or a speed 6 under retail (cause they have been going for similar prices as the speed 3 here in TX), and be in one of the best rides for the money going in the market today? Just curious...

RE: Deal?

Check the following three websites to find out what the advertised invoice price is:

www.edumunds.com
www.kbb.com
www.nada.com

I was planning to get a similarly equiped GT and I had a deal at $200 over invoice and I purchased my Tundra for $500 over invoice.

If you're under the advertised invoice price by very much is should be a good deal. I figure anything close to invoice is fair, but it isn't difficult to get a dealer to sell close to invoice.

I just checked the NADA site and assumed that you were talking about an automatic sedan. The MSRP was $23,050 and the Invoice $21,452. This was with Bose/MoonRoof & Spoiler.

RE: Deal?

Well in Jan 07, I bought the 3sGT 4door. It had the moonroof/Bose 6disk sound package. Through the Ford employee discount I paid invoice which was $20200. We had the rear wing spoiler added which was $450.

I financed my at 48 months 2.9% which was Mazda's financing deal. The 60 months at 3.9% is the samedeal they are running so it will not very based on your credit score. If you have crappy credit you simply will not qualify for the loan. Here in NE Ohio, that interest deal is now only listed for the"i" model, so the web site says. As my salesman told meearly in the year like this, nobody is buying cars.

Dude it is a deal.
