You can also get an intake from Mazda, part of the Mazdaspeed accessory lineup, looks exactly like the AEM, and gauranteed (presumably,) to fit. I think if you have them install it you're good to go on your warranty as well.

It is just that, a re-badged AEM. And it's about $250.00 or so.
That's a lot of money for a pipe and filter.

You mean a lot of money in general? Direct Tuning has the AEM for 240, right in the ballpark. I guess you'd really have to want your peace of mind to have Mazda install it, though...
