maybe a stupid question... but i just got a 2008 mazda3 s, all the cold air intakes i can find are for 04-07, maybe a stupid question, but im guessing they will fit the 2008 too? thanks for the help, looking specifically at the K&N

I don't see why it shouldn't? The '08's are the same as the '07's were.

i agree. the engine's didnt change at all.
in fact, i tihnk the only real changes were the wheels and the foglights.
so most '07 mods would fit an '08 as well.

K&N for the street because it offers more low-mid range power, like the AEM and Mazdaspeed.
Fujita for street/track. It's strong point is mid-upper rpm range.

I had a CAI on my other car and got ride of it. Don't u guys get engine light problems? Never really noticed any power increase. just more noise.I also always worried that it would suck up rain and hurt the motor.

ive got the aem cai in my 2004 wagon and ive no cel problems cause by the intake. i was more than happy with the results after installation of the cai. and the only time youve got to worry about sucking water into your cai is if you fully submerge the filter into a deep puddle.

I have an MS CAI (made by AEM) andI did expereince someearly CEL's with it, which surprised me to no end. However, after (CAREFULLY) cleaning the MAF sensor several times, theproblem seems to be all better now.
700+ miles and counting.

what kind of filter are you using? synthetic or oiled? the oiled filters will cause the maf sensor to muck up much quicker than it should. the synthetic filters are nice because they dont use oil at all.
