Default Chin Spoiler

I have been lurking around another Mazda forum and there are a number of discussions of different chin spoilers. Does anyone here have any thoughts, opinions (stupid question) on different styles and makes of chin spoilers? Any experiences with painting/installing? I saw a couple that looked really nice and some that were a little extreme for my tastes.

I haven't ever looked for one so I don't know but, I was thinking of a front spoiler or splitter the other day. I really like the front of the new Audi's.

Yes, the GV on the station wagon would be my pick too... even if it were to be put on a lowly SEEEdan.

Are all those spoilers put on with double sided tape or are they full bumper replacements? It'd be nice if a smaller black piece could be held on to the bottom with the existing screws.

They appear to attach to the existing facia, but I am not sure what is used to secure them. Two sided tape doesn't seem to be sturdy enough, but I don't know.

Here's another picture of the one on Lara's car (the left hand one pictured above)
http://larawdesigns.com/Mazda3/Sept2808/slides/1.html

I know many of the lip kits are held on by double sided tape....... really it's incredibly strong stuff.

Then there are the people who put more money/effort into their cars will have the lip molded onto the bumper by a body shop.
