change odometer to miles from kilometres 2012 Mazda 3
 

Hi! I have a Canadian 2012 Mazda 3 itouring w Skyactiv and need to change the total kms to total miles before someone will buy my car in the US (where I currently live). I have no clue:
A) If this is even possible (I'm getting mixed messages)
B) How to do this. A lot of threads/websites (and even my owner's manual) say to use the info button, but that doesn't exist on my car.

Any tips would be HUGELY appreciated :)

Multi Information Display

1. Press the INFO switch until the SETTINGS screen is displayed.



2. Select PREFERENCES by pressing the Enter (up/down) switch up or down, and then press the Enter (up/down) switch.



3. Select the setting item you want to change by pressing the Enter (up/down) switch up or down, and then press the Enter (up/down) switch.



4. Select the desired setting by pressing the Enter (up/down) switch up or down, and then press the Enter (up/down) switch.

Unfortunately my BL is tucked up in bed while I'm away on a training course in a BN SP25. If I remember, I will try the above instructions on my return.

Thanks so much for the response! I should have attached a photo. Unfortunately I do not have an info button :( Your instructions are exactly what the owner's manual said to do, but I strangely don't have an info button!).

Weird.

Have you tried talking to your local Mazda Dealer service department?

Thank you yes it's that dang info button I seem to need and don't have! My mazda dealership is trying to research how to do it, and I will post the solution here if they find one.
