CD player
 

I noticed on my mazda3 I touring, that the CD player is not a 6-cd changer. The cd console has the load button so I called the dealership and had the guy who sold me the car look into it. Even the 2013 Mazda manual has a section about how to load multiple cds in there. He called me back and said that it does not have the 6-cd changer capability, that Mazda didn't update the CD player display for the 2013 models. Is this true??? The only reason I am questioning this is because I feel like the car salesman didn't know his stuff on some other questions I had when buying the car.

Some models come equipped with the 6CD in dash changer. Some have the single disc. All of them have the LOAD button.

On how to correct the issue...... firstly do you have anything in writing from your purchase stating 6CD, or just the salesman's word? If you have something in writing you may be able to get the dealer to give you a new HU. Assuming that doesn't work you should theoretically be able to swap in the 6CD unit to your car. On the 1st gen. models you could swap in the 6CD with no problem (assuming you didn't try using the Bose HU in a non-bose car).
