Default CD Not Being Ejected

The CD player in my mazda 3 stopped ejecting CDs.
It tries to but gets stuck or stops before they come out.

Does anyone know if this is a common fault?
And if so, is there a fix? Or replacement is the only option?

try your best to clean the port where the cd's go in, my guess that you might of had a little sticky stuff on the bottom of your cd, other than than i dont know.

What kind of CD is it. I have had burnt CD's with a custom label on them get stuck in some players due to the amount of ink on the label.

Take the radio out and throw it against the wall a bunch until it breaks apart.

Ejected CD! Wahlah!

I don't know if this player is like this, but I have had some do this where I had toe hold the eject button for 5sec to reset the eject and it worked.

I will try that thanks.
Usually what happens is the CD comes out a tiny bit, but if I press it in with another CD it will come out.

Are there any write ups on how to remove the head unit if need be?

Thanks

not sure what year you have but on my girlfriends 07 3 the HU comes out pretty easily. All you have to do is open the glove box and put your fingers under the lip of that wood trim piece on the dash and pop it out from the center and move toward the drivers side. Once all the clips are popped out, you have to kind of slide the far passenger side edge towards the drivers side to get that piece off since it is hooked on that side. Then you will see 2 black screws on top of the HU's screen, remove those and pull out the player. Its held down by those 2 screws and a couple clips so it will take a little effort to release the clips.

I actually took hers out yesterday along with her center console. The 3 seems to be a very easy car as far as taking apart for installing things, atleast the 2007 is.
