Default Anti Foulers on O2 sensors

Hello all

So I have my 07 speed3 with cp-e parts throughout. I have the custom downpipe which is causing problems with the O2 sensor causing my car to run very rich. It makes my car smell like a go-kart.

So, if I put the antifoulers on the sensors to extend them out, I know it will essentially "trick" the computer into thinking everything is okay eliminating the CEL which is constantly on.

BUT, I can't seem to find any information on whether or not this will actually fix the problem of it running rich or lean, whichever it may be (rich at the moment), or just turn off the light.....

The only sure fire way I know of to fix the running rich problem is to put all the exhaust back to stock which costs 2200+....

I only bought the car and inherited it's problems..... who knows how long the previous owner ran the car rich

anti foulers either work or they dont, with mazda is a 50/50 shot and thats just assuming that 02 sensor is good. Im assuming that your downpipe is not catted which is why its causing that code, id put on a catted dp and see if that fixes the problem, cant say for sure though
