Default Amp w/factory Bose system problem

Ive hooked up a line out converter (LOC) routed to each rear door speaker. The amp turns on, has power, but not pushing hard even with the amp at full throttle. I have a Kicker L7 10" with a Kicker 400 rms amp. What is everyone else doing with the factory deck to push an amp? Ive tried searching but havent been successful in my venture. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I understand the difference between the Bose HU and the standard one is the bose one has line level outputs while the standard one has speaker level outputs. Don't know if that's making the difference for you.

Any suggestions on the Bose HU and the line level outputs? Is there something other than a LOC I need? Do I even need the LOC? I'm pretty much confused.
