All-new Mazda 3 headlights (I feel cheated. Really!)
I live in Denmark, and when I saw the all new Mazda 3 pictures and videos I was in love with the car, the design and the features impressed me. I was very interested in the car and ended up buying one, picking it up this week. To be fair, I cannot complain about the interior and the equipments the car has. They are very well-finished and the built quality is awesome, however, my complain goes to the damn headlights, which are completely different from what I expected.
These are the headlights I saw in the website:
This is how MNE looks like:
This is how it lights, for the daylight running light (taken from another car):
In the picture on their website (https://www.mazda.dk/modeller/den-nye-mazda3-hatchback/), there is a circular LED around the high-beam lights, however in my version there is a chromatic piece around it and the daylight running light is just halogenic. Really? I mean, why even make two different versions? I know it has nothing to do with country laws, because we have several other vehicles here in Denmark with led daylight running lights. I know this is not an optional either, because I have the top trim and in no page of their website could I find such option.
Another very annoying thing is the fact that my car doesn't have paddles to switch gears on the steering wheel either. Anyways, at the moment I am more worried about the headlights.
This sucks a lot.

I just checked the Danish website for Mazda and see there are four versions of the Mazda3 available in Denmark, the Sense and the Cosmo (both of which have one style of headlights), and the Sky and the Cosmo (both of which have the second style of headlight).

- Did you look at your car and take it for a test drive before you bought it?
- I cannot read Danish so I was unable to distinguish between the two types of Cosmo; do you know what the differences are?

There are 4 motor versions: gasoline/diesel with manual/automatic gear and 3 equipment versions: Sky, Sense and Cosmo. The latter is the upper trim, the same one I purchased, with all the features the other versions have and more.
1. I drove the car, but I didn't pay attention to the headlights. I thought it was as the website, but apparently it was not.
2. There is only one Cosmo version, you are probably confusing with the Cosmo Manual and Cosmo Automatic Gear, which is basically the same car - equipament-wise - but with a different gear box.
