Aftermarket tail light replacement for leased Mazda 3
My girlfriend has a leased Mazda 3. Someone broke her tail light and replacement is more than I would have thought. I found aftermarket tail lights such as the following on eBay at a much more reasonable price:
2010 2011 Mazda 3 Sedan 4 Door Non LED Passenger Right Tail Light Rear Lamp | eBay
Will replacing with an aftermarket part such as the one above cause any issues with returning the leased vehicle?

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I just found out that my girlfriend has the LED lights (sedan) which brings up the price quite a bit. If anyone knows of a source where I can save quite a bit from the dealer ($259), i would appreciate it.
I just found this one. It looks to be the cheapest. Jump on it quick!

I was able to pick up this one yesterday:
2010 2011 2012 2013 Mazda 3 Right Tail Light Nice | eBay
Hopefully the stress crack is as minor as claimed.
Do you know if any special tools are required to install or is installation pretty simple?

I don't know if the LED makes a difference when changing them but for my 08 it was pretty simple to remove the tails. 10MM deep socket and there are 3 of them on each side. Just be careful you don't break the clips that attach the carpet/plastic piece to the car. Use a flathead screw driver to take them out VERY carefully (coming from experience and I broke 5 of them.
