accelerator to start
 

i have a 2009 Mazda 3 i sport and noticed that i can crank it for a few seconds and it won't start. I have to apply the accelerator to get the car to start. Is this normal behavior?

Yea my 08 does this from time to time. Not sure of what it is but have gotten it checked and was told not to worry about it. Usually it happens after turning the car off and back on in a short span.

Possibly flooded.
