Default 2012 cruise switches success

I installed switches then took it to dealership and after much persuasion convinced them to try and activate it in the ecm. Success!

I would like to chat with whoever has had good luck, because if so the instructions are flawed or not applicable to certain models.

Could anybody tell us more details about the steps taken with the Mazda computer to enable cruise?
We could not find the speed icon. Basically there are no icons, just menus and sub-menus.

Did anybody see the service tech doing the job and could enlighten us?

Thank you in advance!!

If it's a 2007 I believe you have to change the brake switch and it doesn't require activation at the dealership.

i have also been told there is no 'speed' icon and that they can only change in code with an 'as built' vin

is there any way to get around this? are they using the correct program??

would love to hear a solution!!
