2010 Mazda3 s Short Ram Intakes?

Hello guys,

First post here, hopefully somebody can be of some much needed assistance. I've looked around on all the different performance parts website and can't seem to find any consistency.

I'm looking for a Short Ram Intake for my Mazda3. It's a 2010 's' Model.
2.5L engine. Everything is currently stock.

So far the only Short Ram I've found is made by Corksport?

Can anybody lend me a hand? Would be much appreciated!

What is it you're trying to achieve with the addition of the short-ram intake?

The additional HP and torque. Plus the nice sound it provides!

My father had a Takeda SRI on his 2006 Mazda 3, and I loved what it did.

Additional HP and Torque? Highly-HIGHLY unlikely. A short ram intake may help your engine gain a few hp (like two or three) at red-line at wide open throttle, but your mid-range torque will most likely suffer.

Okay I don't want to argue whether or not the performance is what it is. I know the positive change it had on my fathers Mazda 3, so I would like to invest in one as well. I just want help on finding SRI's that will fit the 2010 Mazda3 s. I don't want to get lectured on what they may or may not do.

Thank you.

It's your money, spend it as you wish.

corksport and simota for sure make SRI's for the 2.5l also I believe K&N makes one and injen makes a CAI that is 3 piece and looks like you can do either a CAI or SRI. I went with the Injen and have only tried it in the CAI configuration and it works great. I just moved to montana so I might try and switch it to the SRI if it works I will let you know

I will have to agree with shipo (at least with the CAI) the gains are mostly between 4500 and 6000 rpms at WOT. I still I think it was worth it just for the more aggressive growl and a little engine bay eye candy.

The only reason I wanted to steer towards the SRI's rather than cold air was because I didn't want to have to worry about removing my front bumper and get "too involved." My car is a lease and I don't want to mess around with too much.

Can you link me to all the SRI's that fit the 2.5L 2010?

corksport sri

Simota SRI

K&N Typhoon which I believe is a SRI (again scroll down to see product) meh I guess it only links you back to the search but you can find it from there

K&N Products by Vehicle Search - Year, Make, Model, Engine Search

and I believe that is it for SRI

Thanks for all the help, it's much appreciate.
