04-06 Airbag Cover Recall done?
 

Who has gotten their recently recall for the air bag cover done?...I took the 3 a couple of weeks ago and ended up getting 2 recalls done while it was there, the airbag cover and a front bumper crash sensor

....feels weird getting a recall done at a car with 171k.

What info did you need for it? I bought mine used. Do I need to be original owner?

Odd... It doesn't even list Mazda 3 as an applicable vehicle....I know for sure the airbag was never replaced tho 🤷

Did u do a search using ur vin#?

It's not the airbag getting replaced, only the plastic cover with the Mazda Emblem.

Also its only the pre-facelift BK Mazda 3.

Hmm strange. But ye I have an 07 mz3 bk. Doesn't show here for some reason ..

Affected vehicles 4 recall. No mazda3 listed

Did u try the vin search feature?

Mazda 3's are not affected by the Takata airbag recalls.

Also the "Horn Pad" recall on BK Mazda 3 is only pre-facelift. 2007 will be the facelift.

Oh, thanks for the clarification. That's why I did a search on a 08 and it didn't come up.
