Default Unable to remove ECU connector cover

Hi guys,

Trying to get to my spark plugs, the ECU connector cover isn't as I've seen on YouTube, it appears to have 5 metal screws with no slot for a screwdriver. It's a 2009 1.5 Sport, I've attached a picture.
If anyone knows how to remove this cover, that would be awesome!! (Had the car for a week!)

Thanks

Dan

If you unbolt the air box, loosen the clamps on the intake pipe, you can lift the air box higher enough to sneak in underneath and do spark plugs. This is what I've been doing for many years.

Thanks for the info,

Do you take the intake pipe right off?

Will give it a go and see how it goes.

Was thinking of drilling those screws out, as at some point I'm gonna need access I guess?

I am in the process of changing the intake manifold gasket. I didnt have success in removing the ECU pin connectors. This metal cover and the screw with bold head is not unscrewable. Can someone help me out how can I do that. thanks

Drill or grind them off.
