Switchblade key
 

Hi. The missus recently got a Mazda Demio 2006 (Japanese assembled) that came with one switch-blade key only. I've seen these things for sale in faraway lands but am not sure if the key incorporates an actual immobiliser as well as the standard remote door lock. No problem programming the door lock chip but as I only have one key it will not be easy to program if it has indeed got an immobiliser too. Local Mazda dealership will do two keys for me at one week's wages, get real!. Cheers. :o
