Speed signal loss and loss of power.
Hello everyone,
I apologize for my English, because I go through google translation because I'm French. I am writing you because I have a problem with the mazda 2 of my girlfriend. (1.4L elegance MZ-CD 2009) Problem Description: On trips around 40km, the car bug. 1 - The car gives a accoup 2 - speed signal falls to 0 km / h and goes immediately to the right speed but the engine loses power. 3 - can not exceed the 80km / h, even downshifting or through a speed more. 4 - and the car gives a accoup back to being normal and everything. We enmene the car in a garage or mazda they plugged the suitcase (Diagnostic PC) but the bag does not say anything at all. We unplugged the flowmeter but the problem persists. Thank you in advance |
Bonjour Zildjan.
This appears to be an electrical problem. make sure you have good ground connection on the battery, and at the alternator. If the alternator is bad it could confuse the PCM (computer = ordinateur). Have the alternator checked. |

Have the alternator checked. I also think an electrical problem too. The alternator looks good, I measured the voltage of the car battery to stop the car and running. The alternator looks good. (I have no values in mind). Regarding the weight of the battery and alternator, I will look. English is understandable? lol Thank you in advance |

Je viens de trouver ce PDF en ce qui concerne le PCM. Mais je comprend rien vu mon niveau d'anglais. |
Zildjian:
This is about the Immobilizer and the passive anti theft system (PATS). There is not much about the PCM. I do not know much about PATS. There is a chip inside the key which tells the PCM this is a legitimate key. Try your second key. If the car works with it then there is a problem with the first key. Alternator: it is not enough to say "it looks good". You should do a load test or take the alternator out of the car and have it tested on a machine. The weight (kg?) of the battery does not matter. Make sure you have good electrical current from the negative pole to the body of the car. Votre Anglais est meilleur que mon Francais! |
Hello,
I'll try with the second key to see if the problem persists. I will look if the ground electricity is connected. Somebody already try to clean the EGR valve on a mazda 2? Thank you in advance |
