Power window stops after an inch then restarts
New to me car. Noticed the driver's window stops after an inch, relay clicks off, and then a half second later, clicks back on. Using the auto feature, it only very briefly stutters at the inch mark before continuing. Rolling up is fine both manually and with auto-up.
I did notice that if I key-off, it works perfectly. No problems at all at the inch mark. Any idea what this could be?
Unrelated, but I'm assuming the power mirror selector shouldn't need to be held down on either L/R in order to adjust the mirror?

Try spraying silicone spray in the window track/rubber.
Mirror switch is a common failure, I was replacing them when they were still in warranty.
You used to be able to buy the switch internals as a repair part, not sure if they still make it.

Gave it a good spray today. No dice, but maybe the lube hasn't worked its way around yet. What's strange is how perfectly smooth it rolls down after switching the ignition switch to off.
I'm assuming the relay trips off if there's excessive current (window jam)? It's always the exact same spot, and only when going down.
update: found a pdf of the mazda2 owners manual. Looks like this is a feature
