Mazda low biting point
Hi guys, new here.
Recently got a Mazda 2 2012 and the car drives great, no issues however the issue i have is that the biting point is low when starting the car. So when i go into gear 1, i find it very hard to find the biting point and end up stalling, once i get past gear 1, it drives fine and no issue with the clutch, Is this normal or do i need to do something?

On a flat, quiet road with no cars around, put the car into first gear and lift the clutch without accelerating. The car should stall. Try it in second also. If the car does not stall, you need a new clutch. If it does but it takes until the highest point of the clutch, you're very close to needing a new clutch, which is what I suspect this is.
I had my clutch changed last week. New to Mazda so asked about adjusting it but was told apparently there is no adjustment due to it being a hydraulic clutch. Getting used to the biting point being just off the carpet now....
