Question Mazda 2 water logged

I have a 2009 Mazda 2 that was water logged up to knee height. The ignition works as normal, dash lights etc and the central locking works normally but it will not turn over on the starter motor. I have purchased another written off Mazda 2 for parts so can swap ECU's etc. Any info, ideas, location of ECU's etc welcomed please!

ECU is basically inside the air filter.

Great, thanks. Funny thing is the central locking, heater, radio etc works, ignition comes on but the hazards and indicators don't work?
