I have recently bought a Mazda 2 Tamura 2011 and i knew the a/c wouldn't blow cold air. Overall the car is very good and i recently found out that the a/c line that goes into the condenser or the drier was disconnected ! see picture attached for reference. I am not sure why that was disconnected but i plugged it back in and it looks that there was no damage to the connector.
Any advice before i go to the mechanic? should i ask the mechanic to pressure test it first before adding any refrigerant ? should i replace the whole hose now that it came off ?
Today i have tested the Compressor clutch and it works. The AC relay is also working, but i cant check the compressor because the system is empty from refrigerant and theres no pressure for the compressor to work.
I will try and take the car to the mechanic and have it checked next week. Any other advice?
