Mazda 2 (DY 2006) - Suspension Noise
 

Hello all.

I just bought a DY in excellent condition, low mileage, perfect service books. I just can't get used to the suspension and was wondering if there's a problem or if I just need to get used to this car.

I tested it before I bought: it doesn't bounce when rocked (front maybe a tiny bit, rear not at all), it doesn't nose dive when braking suddenly, it doesn't roll in corners, it goes over speed bumps gracefully and quietly without bouncing, but every little pot hole and manhole cover in the road is THUMP THUMP loud!
