Default Mazda 2 2009 antenna

Hey everyone my antenna has snapped and for the life of me it won't unscrew off so i can put a new one on, so I'm not sure if it's got to be unscrewed from the inside, can anyone help or is it best to get it fixed at a garage

Exact same happened to me, I acquired my car with a little stubby antenna that was rubbish for reception. tried to screw it out and it just snapped off in the threads of the base.

If you cant screw that bit out with some pliers or something, then you'll have to change the base.
You have to remove the interior light in the head lining to get access to a single 10mm nut that holds the base down to the car roof.

I replaced my base and antenna with a cheap one from ebay that looked roughly the same as the Mazda one
