Hi, I have a 2006 Mazda Demio. Last year I found the floor and carpets on the passenger side very wet. My investigation found the leak coming from the rubber boot(?) that attaches the A/C heater unit to the transmission tunnel. I used plumbers putty (the white stuff you can see) to stop the leak. It worked for 12 months but has started leaking again, possibly because the plumbers putty is losing its stickiness.
I really want to address the true cause rather than use more plumbers putty.
It is not a blockage in the outlet pipe.
Thanks for your comments.
