Mazda 2 2016 1.5 Diesel AWD Automatic, glow plug light blinking non-stop.
Connected a scanner and it aknowledges de light blinking, but no DTC showing up. Car starts normally, no problems
Where should I look and what can it mean?
How to stop that light to keep blinking?

When was the oil & filter last changed? When was the oil data last reset?

 

Oil and filter were changed last November and car has run 1016KM since then. Very little usage. Yes, the oil data was reset.

Running the scanner it shows 2 fault codes in the PCM - P2459:00-2F - Particulate filter regeneration Frequency (Bank 1) - Continuous MemoryDTC.

However, scanning for DPF regeneration it shows:
Distance Between Diesel Particulate Filter Regeneration 9(km) - 34km
Distance Since Last DPF Regeneration(km) - 61.8km
Distance Since Last Oil Change(km) - 1016km
DPF Indicator Illumination Count - 0

Checking for the glow plug , it shows:

Glow Plug Lamp - ON/OFF alternating
Glow Plug Voltage(V) - 0V

I am at complete loss.

I am in Timor-Leste, no Mazda dealer.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I have the same indicator blinking. I had the car since 2019 and last November I had it blinkig for the first time. We did a dpf cleaning on a machine. It seems to come up again. Any one who solved this?
