HOW DO I READ A “PK” NUMBER?
The PK number is broken down into three pieces of information:
» Number of ribs on the belt
» Belt application information
» Effective length of the belt expressed in millimeters
EXAMPLE: 6PK1003
» 6 - This indicates the number of ribs on the belt; therefore, this is a 6-rib belt.
» PK – The “P” indicates a metric designation, and the “K” indicates the belt is automotive per
SAE J1459.
» 1003 - This is the effective length of the belt expressed in millimeters

Ya like I said you are an internet use for information "wonder boy". Your information is missing an important part of choosing the correct belt BTW. As I said you are really old school and not as experienced as you think!

You really have issues with people that know more than you. Stop destroying poeples posts with your vindictive comments. Please look up the SAE J1459 and you may learn a little abt automotive belts. Or would you prefer I waste my time coppying the section from the SAE manuals. Perhaps you don't even know what they are.

ROLMAO you should take your own advise .

as I said there is more to your simple minded posting concerning Poly belts and how they are engineered.
I really wish I didn’t have to correct your bad information all the time lol

maybe read about rib profile . Not going to debate with you on your half posted information all the time . Go read-read my posting info about making sure you get the proper poly belt and also me dropping hints to you not to post stupid! Lol

Automotive belts are designated K and are all the same profile. Check out the SAE standard.

Not going to debate with you… look up as one example OEM supercharger belts . Look dude you posted shallow information and pawned it off as absolute. It shows your lack of experience. And as you have already posted when you basically stopped acquiring the latest advancements in the automotive industry I suggest even at your age to go take a class and get re certification . It’s never too late to learn .
otherwise we are going to keep doing this as long as you post less then good information on this forum .

It was an example DUDE of things that you obviously don't know having to do with accessories or control belts on an engine. I cant help it if you stopped learning about automotive interest year or decades ago. You do realize that Super chargers have been factory installed for years on many platforms.

At this point it is a stupid argument . You are now see picture below:
