The most common are:
Bad connector
Damaged connector pins
Harness to OBDII connector damaged
Faulty or damaged ECU
Poor ground connection from the battery terminal to ground
YOU NEED TO ALSO CHECK to make sure your year actually has 2 unstitched power leads .
Check a wire schematic.
